About the Beans
Tahitensis vanilla beans are lower in vanillin content than the Planifolia variety, but high in certain “anisyl” compounds - flavor components that gourmet chefs prize for the fragrant, somewhat fruity flavor it imparts to pastries. Our Tahitensis Vanilla Extract pairs well with cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and saffron. Try adding a splash to your cinnamon rolls, fruit pie crusts, or whipped cream!
